Every year LCU supports the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day and sell merchandise to show our support for everyone affected by cancer.

For over 25 years, Daffodil Day has helped fund world class research, prevention programs and support services for cancer patients and their families. This year is no different and Cancer Council needs our support to continue to invest in research, prevention and support to help fight cancer.

Today, Friday the 25th we supported daffodil day by wearing yellow and selling merchandise in the village courtyard.

It’s not too late to purchase a daffodil merchandise from us we will be selling them until Friday 1st September!

For more information about Daffodil Day please visit www.daffodilday.com.au

Please help support the Cancer Council’s to defeat cancer and help those fighting this devastating disease.

“I hope there’s one day that cancer is just a zodiac sign” – Daffodil Day

I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge one of our dedicated staff members who has recently retired. In May, Jenny Vote retired from her position as Member Service Officer to spend more time with her family in her new position as Nanny. Jenny has been a trusted and valued employee of LCU for nearly 17 years. While we will certainly be at a loss without her patience and exceptional member service skills, from everyone at LCU we wish her the very best in retirement.
